The place to be.

Ada’s Hoeve
The campsite Gilwell Ada’s Hoeve, located near the town of Ommen in the province of Overijssel, has been owned by Scouting Nederland since 1923. It is one of the 28 official Scouting Label sites. It is a large, beautiful site with forest and water. During the week, we have access to a large part of the terrain. For more general information, see: www.adashoeve.nl/home-en

Subcamps during the 2nd Motondo
Your subcamp is the place where you eat, sleep, play, and meet each other. It is your own base within the larger camp area. Each subcamp has its own subcamp staff. They are your first point of contact for questions, practical matters, safety, and information.
Each subcamp has its own color so participants can identify with it. Announcements, daily schedules, and updates from the organization usually go through the subcamp.

Food
Food distribution for participants is centrally organized. This means ingredients for, for example, dinner are handed out at the time you need them. Until then, they are stored centrally under refrigeration.
Allergies and intolerances that have been registered will be taken into account as much as possible. A central cooling facility will be available for any medication. Please note that there are no facilities to store refrigerated goods for individual groups.

Electricity
There is a central location where you can charge your phone, among other things, but it is not possible to provide each group with its own power connection for other uses in the subcamps. If needed, bring a power bank.

Scout shop and JAMBO shop
During the week, the Scout Shop, located on the site, will be open at certain times. Here you can buy general Scouting Nederland materials such as badges and basic camping supplies. In addition, there will be a special JAMBO shop open all week in or near the large event tent. Here you can buy Leger des Heils scouting items (such as badges, camp currency, T-shirts, etc.), as well as sweets, soft drinks, chips, or fruit.

Camp currency
During the week, euros can be exchanged for camp currency in the JAMBO shop, either in cash or by card. This is used to pay for products sold in the JAMBO shop and for purchases during the market day on Wednesday afternoon.

Site availability
In principle, the site is available for participants from Saturday morning, July 31, to Saturday afternoon, August 7, 2027. It may be possible to arrive a day earlier or stay a bit longer, but this must be agreed upon with the site managers.
